The H1N1 vaccine being used in Canada is Arepanrix H1N1 by GlaxoSmithKline.
“Health Canada has authorized the sale of Arepanrix™ H1N1 based on limited clinical testing in humans under the provision of an Interim Order (IO) issued on October 13, 2009 “
Health Canada – H1N1 vaccine product insert information
On the basis of H1N1 vaccine clinical studies, there is no scientific evidence confirming the long-term safety and effectiveness of Arepanrix. Despite this, The Minister of Health authorized its use, and it is to be used nation-wide.
–
Significant substances
The following, taken from Health Canada’s Arepanrix insert information, lists Antigen and Adjuvants contained in the vaccine:
“Antigen:
…
Preservative content is 5µg Thimerosal USP per 0.5mL dose or 2.5 micrograms organic mercury (Hg) per 0.5mL dose
Adjuvant:
DL-α-tocopherol 11.86 milligrams/0.5mL dose
Squalene 10.69 milligrams/0.5mL dose
Polysorbate 80 4.86 milligrams/0.5mL dose”
(Take notice of Thimerosal and Squalene, both highly toxic substances)
Antigen suspension vial: Thimerosal, sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride, water for injections. The drug substance contains trace residual amounts of egg proteins, formaldehyde, sodium deoxycholate and sucrose.
Adjuvant emulsion vial: sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride, water for injections.”
–
The following are known dangers of some of the dangerous substances contained in the H1N1 vaccine:
Formaldehyde: This substance is ranked as a very hazardous compounds (worst 10%) to ecosystems and human health. Laboratory animals exposed to doses of inhaled formaldehyde over their lifetimes have developed more cancers than are usual, as have workers in particle-board sawmills.
Sodium Deoxycholate : This substance has been shown to weaken the blood-brain-barrier (BBB) and can subsequently activate seizures and produce other brain-related problems.
Thimerosal: As mercury, known issues include the altered functioning of critical neurotransmitters necessary for proper brain functioning. It is associated to brain neuron degeneration, and inoculation of it can lead to neurological disorders.
Squalene (in AS03 adjuvant): Oil adjuvants like squalene have been ordinarily used to inflict diseases in animals – for experimentation and study. In a 2000 article of The American Journal of Pathology a published study demonstrated that a single injection of the adjuvant squalene into rats triggered a chronic, immune-mediated joint-specific inflammation.
Squalene is not officially licensed for use in the United States or Canada.
Anthrax vaccination laced with squalene led to disastrous consequences, such as cases of Gulf War Syndrome.
The AS03 adjuvant in the Arepanrix H1N1 vaccine contains 10.69mg per dose. This is one million times more squalene per dose than the anthrax vaccine.

ADDITIONAL RISKS
( Arepanrix H1N1 vaccine product information — Post-Marketing Surveillance section)
“… the following additional adverse events have been reported:
Blood and lymphatic system disorders
Transient thrombocytopenia.
Immune system disorders
Allergic reactions, in rare cases leading to shock.
Nervous system disorders
Neuralgia, convulsions.
Neurological disorders, such as encephalomyelitis, neuritis and Guillain Barré syndrome.
Vascular disorders
Vasculitis with transient renal involvement.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders
Generalised skin reactions including urticaria”
(Take notice of Guillain Barré syndrome)
–
Guillain-Barré syndrome(GBS) is a known disorder that was also linked to the 1976 swine influenza vaccine.
GBS is an autoimmune disorder affecting the peripheral nervous system, usually triggered by an acute infectious process. It is frequently severe and usually exhibits as an ascending paralysis noted by weakness in the legs that spreads to the upper limbs and the face along with complete loss of deep tendon reflexes. (Wikipedia link)
–
Many health concerns regarding the vaccine have not been evaluated, such as carcinogenic / mutagenic potential, or impairment of fertility — this is even stated in the product insert information. Another issue not evaluated is pharmacokinetics(the study of bodily absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of ingredients) in order to determine the human body’s capacity for eliminating toxic substances contained in the vaccine.
–
Despite the many known and potential dangers, Canada is proceding with its vaccination campaign. The popular media and most government officials continue to promote the H1N1 vaccine, and insufficient /inadequate attention is brought upon the risks.
–
United States:
The H1N1 vaccine in the U.S. is by Novartis — Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine.
The vaccine, also, contains Thimerosal and Squalene.
Product information can be found here (Food and Drug Administration site)
–
Here is a list of dangers taken from the Novartis product insert:
“ Body as a whole: Local injection site reactions (including pain, pain limiting limb movement, redness, swelling, warmth, ecchymosis, induration), hot flashes/flushes; chills; fever; malaise; shivering; fatigue; asthenia; facial edema.
Immune system disorders: Hypersensitivity reactions (including throat and/or mouth edema). In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions have lead to anaphylactic shock and death.
Cardiovascular disorders: Vasculitis (in rare cases with transient renal involvement), syncope shortly after vaccination.
Digestive disorders: Diarrhea; nausea; vomiting; abdominal pain.
Blood and lymphatic disorders: Local lymphadenopathy; transient thrombocytopenia.
Metabolic and nutritional disorders: Loss of appetite.
Musculoskeletal: Arthralgia; myalgia; myasthenia.
Nervous system disorders: Headache; dizziness; neuralgia; paraesthesia; confusion; febrile convulsions; Guillain-Barré Syndrome; myelitis (including encephalomyelitis and transverse myelitis); neuropathy (including neuritis); paralysis (including Bell’s Palsy).
Respiratory disorders: Dyspnea; chest pain; cough; pharyngitis; rhinitis.

“Neurological disorders temporally associated with influenza vaccination such as encephalopathy, optic neuritis/neuropathy, partial facial paralysis, and brachial plexus neuropathy have been reported.”
“Microscopic polyangiitis (vasculitis) has been reported temporally associated with influenza vaccination. “
–
Other Notable information from the Novartis H1N1 vaccine package insert:
“Pregnancy
Pregnancy Category C: Animal reproduction studies have not been conducted with Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine or FLUVIRIN. It is also not known whether Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine or FLUVIRIN can cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman or can affect reproduction capacity. Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine should be given to a pregnant woman only if clearly needed.”
“Limitations of Vaccine Effectiveness
Vaccination with Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine may not protect all individuals. “
The information regarding pregnancy is especially concerning, as pregnant women are among the group prioritized, by health officials and the like, in taking the H1N1 vaccine.
–
The H1N1 vaccine is strongly promoted in the United States, by industries and government, with inadequate coverage on risks.
–
In order to assure that the population is aware of the risks and make an informed decision, it is important to share and distribute this information. You can E-mail the link to this post, or even print the vaccine package insert information found on the official Health Authority sites to show around.

Influenza A H1N1(Swine Flu) And Vaccine Dangers
FAQ
How Dangerous is the Influenza A H1N1(Swine flu) virus?
Cases of H1N1 flu are relatively mild, and similar to seasonal flu. Hospitalizations and deaths have been of persons that also had underlying conditions or a weakened immune system. Statistically, on an annual basis from known data, seasonal flu would be responsible for as many or more deaths and hospitalizations than H1N1 flu.
How severe is the 2009 H1N1 flu pandemic outbreak?
It is extremely difficult to determine the degree at which H1N1 is spreading, due to the complications in identifying it. Very few cases are actually confirmed via laboratories, and most cases reported are simply based on the flu-like symptoms.
Why did the WHO (World Health Organization) declare a level 6 pandemic for H1N1?
To implore nations on reacting to the H1N1 situation, WHO modified the definition of ‘pandemic’ to include milder diseases. WHO’s reasoning for this change and declaring a high level pandemic is largely unclear and admittedly unjustified when taking into account available reliable data on the situation.
Vaccines are part of a billion-dollar industry, and many agencies and organizations crucial to health policies, such as the WHO, bear a conflict of interest in accordance to this, as some of their members are directly, or indirectly, paid by one or more of the leading pharmaceutical corporations — It is to their benefit that a situation bring about demand for vaccines. As examples:
Experts like Wayne L. Pines, involved with various pharmaceutical groups and consulting agencies, have also been part of health organizations dictating health activities, policies and procedures, including the FDA(Food and Drug Administration).
Professor Sir Roy Anderson, in the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies of UK government, holds a £116,000-a-year post on the board of GlaxoSmithKline, one of the leading companies selling swine flu vaccines and antivirals to many countries.
Organizations like The Institute for Vaccine Safety, intended to provide forums on vaccine safety, are also in good part funded by vaccine corporations.
How is Canada and the U.S. reacting to H1N1 flu?
Both Canada and the U.S. are largely basing their H1N1 policies and plans on the information and guidelines they receive from the WHO and similar organizations. Mass vaccination campaigns are included in these plans.
Is the H1N1 vaccine effective?
It is difficult to confirm the success of vaccines in preventing disease. It should also be noted that various medical literature documents and studies show significant numbers of failures with many vaccines, including flu vaccines, and especially ones for measles, mumps, small pox, pertussis, polio and Hib-causing bacterial meningitis and pneumonia.
Due to the rapid mutation of certain viruses, such as in the case of the H1N1 virus, it is highly possible that the H1N1 vaccine, having been made from an older version of the virus, will be ineffective against the mutated virus by the time it is used.
The internationally renowned Cochrane Collaboration reviewed over 140 studies on influenza vaccination, and concluded there is little scientific proof that influenza vaccine is effective at preventing influenza in children and adults. They also found that published industry-sponsored studies were often methodologically flawed.
Is the H1N1 vaccine safe?
With the sense of urgency presented by the WHO and other organizations, H1N1 vaccines have been fast-tracked to production and no adequate, long-term, safety trial studies are being conducted to assure that vaccines are sufficiently safe. The true safety of H1N1 vaccines is uncertain.
It should be noted that many vaccines have in the past brought upon serious health problems, including the “Swine Flu” vaccine of 1976, which led to deaths and cases of paralyzing neuromuscular disorders.
Do H1N1 vaccines contain dangerous substances?
Some of the substances contained in the H1N1 vaccine posing a significant health risk are adjuvants, composed of dangerous ingredients such as Mercury(as Thimerosal), Squalene(as MF-59 or AS03), and Aluminum compounds, to increase the immune response from a single shot, as well as for preservation.
Inoculation of Thimerosal and Squalene compounds have been linked to cases of irreparable damage and disease. As examples:
A 2000 study described in The American Journal of Pathology found that a single injection of squalene into rats triggered chronic immune-mediated inflammations. In addition, More than two dozen peer-reviewed scientific papers document that squalene-based adjuvants can induce autoimmune diseases in animals.
Some studies have shown that Thimerosal may cause neurological damage, however others have shown that no such link exists. Epidemiologist Tom Verstraeten and Dr. Richard Johnston from the University of Colorado, along with many others, concluded that Thimerosal was responsible for the dramatic rise in cases of autism in the population, but their findings were dismissed by the CDC. Suspicious dealings among agencies and industries have been reported on this issue.
How much coverage is there on the potential dangers of vaccines?
Very little coverage, by media corporations, can be found on dangers associated to vaccines or, in fact, any incidents, studies, and reports that would seemingly discredit, or financially harm, leading pharmaceutical companies. What little reporting exists is rarily reiterated or given sufficient attention. As examples:
Thousands of adverse reactions to vaccines continually get reported into the FDA Vaccine Adverse Event Report System(VAERS), but are, for the most part, ignored.
In early 2009, Baxter International, one of the leading vaccine manufacturers, contaminated large amounts of seasonal flu vaccine material with lethal H5N1 bird flu live virus. A laboratory in the Czech Republic luckily discovered this issue before its preparation for use. This was given little coverage by corporate media.
Bayer International, the fourth biggest pharmaceutical corporation in the world, has, in the past, knowingly sold HIV-infected products, leading to tens of thousands of people getting infected with the AIDS virus. This horrendous incident was also covered very little, and their public image was not drastically affected by it.
What methods can be used for protection against H1N1 flu?
Maintaining health with good nutrition, sleep and excercise, for a strong natural immunity.
Taking vitamin D during flu season ( When levels produced by the human body typically get lower ).
Eating less refined sugar, as it slows the immune system.
Good hygiene.
Washing/Disinfecting hands appropriately, and avoiding contact with infected persons.
Final note: Taking the H1N1 vaccine is a significant decision that requires critical thinking. Getting informed on the different aspects of the issue is important. Many Experts and Health workers have decided not to take the vaccine.
Due to the lack of proper coverage on vaccine dangers, it is imperative to share and distribute this information, so that everyone may come closer to undertaking an informed decision on the matter.
